25 days to go...... THE POTIONS MASTER @overstuffed armchair

Dumbledore Harry along for his first Side along Apparition. Harry prefers to travel by broom. As they walk down an unfamiliar street on a mysterious errand, Harry questions Dumbledore about what's happening in the wizarding world while he's been held at the Dursley's. Harry learns that Voldemort is now practicing Occlumency against him which is the reason why his scar hasn't burned once.

When they get to Slughorn's house, things look rather scary. All signs point to a violent attack, and they walk around the rather devastated living room. Dumbledore knowing Slughorn better quickly unmasks Slughorn, who had created the whole scene and was in fact hiding in the living room as an armchair.

Slughorn is revealed to be a nice, fussy old man who likes to be associated with famous and powerful people.
"Slughorn gazed into space for a moment or two: He seemed to be thinking over
Harry's words."Well, yes, it is true that He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named has never sought a fight
with Dumbledore," he muttered grudgingly. "And I suppose one could argue that as I have not joined the Death Kilters, He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named can hardly count me a friend . . . in which case, I might well be safer a little closer to Albus. . . . I cannot pretend that Amelia Bones's death did not shake me. . . .If she, with all her Ministry contacts and protection . . ." ""Well done, Harry," said Dumbledore. "I didn't do anything," said Harry in surprise. "Oh yes you did. You showed Horace exactly how much he stands to gain by returning to Hogwarts. Did you like him?" "Er..." Harry wasn't sure whether he liked Slughorn or not"

When Dumbledore and Harry Apparate to the Burrow Dumbledore informs Harry that they'll be taking private lessons together. He praises Harry on how well he seems to be dealing with Sirius's death. He lets Harry know that he should tell Ron and Hermione about the prophecy regarding him and Voldemort, because he needs his friends. He also says something about the OWL results will be there the next day.

"This small encounter shows the amount of faith Dumbledore has on harry and the amount of loyalty shown by harry to Dumbledore. Moreover he uses Harry as a tool wherever he wants to accomplish important things"

26 DAYS TO GO.....HARRY & DUMBLEDORE

Chapter starts with Harry waiting for Dumbledore. He had received a letter that the Headmaster would be arriving at the Dursley's to pick him up. As usual he hadn't even started packing in case the thing would be a dream or it turned out to be a pitfall. When Dumbledore shows up, however, Harry is more than surprised and rushes downstairs to greet him. As expected Dumbledore's arrival is less-than-welcome to the Dursley's, however, and when Dumbledore walks into the living room to talk to Harry the situation is tense with Uncle Vernon's ill will.
Dumbledore continues his amusing way by doing some spellwork as usual moving couches and giving them Oak matured meads. He explains about Sirius's will about how he left him everything in his will, including Kreacher. Harry loathes Kreacher, and sends him to Hogwarts to work in the kitchens. Before leaving, Dumbledore shows his contempt with the Dursley's for never showing Harry any kindness, and asks that Harry be allowed to come back one more time before he comes of age next year. When they get outside, they set out together into the warm summer's night.

"The magic I evoked fifteen years ago means that Harry has powerful protection
while he can still call this house 'home.' However miserable he has been
here, however unwelcome, however badly treated, you have at least, grudgingly,
allowed him houseroom. This magic will cease to operate the moment
that Harry turns seventeen; in other words, at the moment he becomes a man.
I ask only this: that you allow Harry to return, once more, to this house, before
his seventeenth birthday, which will ensure that the protection continues until
that time."

27 days to go......SNAPE & NARCISSA

Snape invites Narcissa Malfoy and reluctant Bellatrix Lestrange them inside his house at SPINNERS END. Narcissa is frantic for Snape's help. But Bellatrix's distrusts Snape's true loyalties. Snape invites Bellatrix to clear the tension by asking him whatever she wants. Snape frankly answers her questions about his role as a Death Eater and proclaims his loyalty to the Dark Lord. Meanwhile there is a short scene with wormtail quite non significant. When Narcissa finally entreat es Snape for help, he finds that she's worried about her son, Draco, and the task Voldemort has required him to accomplish. Snape makes an Unbreakable Vow with Narcissa, promising that he will help Draco on his mission and protect him.

"THIS SCENE OR MAY BE A PART OF THE BOOK CLEARLY EXPLAINS HOW FAR SNAPE GETS TO FULFILL DUMBLEDORE'S ORDERS AND HE MAKES THE UNBREAKABLE VOW MAKING HIM A MAN OF CHARACTER"

FUDGE GIVES IN FINALLY

The story starts with the muggle prime minister thinking about the various disasters that had happened in the previous weeks. Followed by FUDGE arriving there worn out and defeated. The muggle prime minister thinks about the day when he had taken up the office and how he had encountered Fudge for the first time.He was horrified at the very thouqht .How he had explained about the muggles and wizards and other important facts. Later he had to feel cracked when he again met fudge when he had come to describe about Sirius black. But today he had come over to introduce the new minister of magic Rufus

"My dear Prime Minister, you can't honestly think I'm still Minister of Magic after all this? I was sacked three days ago! The whole Wizarding community has
been screaming for my resignation for a fortnight. I've never known them so
united in my whole term of office!" said Fudge, with a brave attempt at a smile.
The Prime Minister was momentarily lost for words. Despite his indignation at
the position into which he had been placed, he still rather felt for the shrunkenlooking man sitting opposite him. "I'm very sorry," he said finally. "If there's anything I can do?" "It's very kind of you, Prime Minister, but there is nothing. I was sent here tonight to bring you up to date on recent events and to introduce you to my successor.
